Join local Illustrator & Educator Katie Carter-Leay (Katie in Colour) for a 'Collaged Greetings Card' workshop. In this drop-in workshop you will have access to a range of reclaimed collage materials to make your own personalised greetings card to send to a loved one. Collage is a relaxing, mindful activity that's very beginner-friendly; all materials will be provided and all skill levels are welcome! During the workshop you will be treated to the wonderful voice of Eva Romanakova, singing classical music.

About Katie Carter-Leay
Katie is a Basildon-based Illustrator and Educator who uses a range of mixed media techniques to create work that is vibrant and full of character. Katie is known for her love of bright colours, pattern-clashing and silliness, and loves nothing more than spending time at her desk with some scissors and a glue stick. When she isn't cutting and sticking, Katie likes rollerskating and hanging out with her cat (although not typically at the same time).

About Eva Romanakova
Eva Romanakova is a classically trained soprano (crossover) with a passion for both classical music and a wide range of other genres. While she specialises in classical repertoire, she also loves bringing the energy of musical theatre, pop, and jazz to the stage.

If you’re a tarot beginner, this is a great chance to step away from the comfort of the guide book, to explore possible meanings of the cards and learn new techniques to take your readings to the next level. If you’ve got a bit of tarot experience already, this is a chance to practice in a new way, to hear new perspectives on the cards and share your ideas and perspectives with others.

This is a fully interactive workshop, you will get a chance to share your reading and as a group we will dissect, explore and understand the cards so you leave confident with what you want to bring into spring, what you want to give your attention and what needs to be left behind.

Reviews from previous workshops:

''I thoroughly enjoyed this class, as a novice I was apprehensive but everyone was so positive and generous with their knowledge and thoughts. It has spurred me on and I’ve been doing my 3 card readings for myself!''

''This workshop was just so perfect! As a tarot reader myself, I rarely get the chance to sit down for 2 hours to read my own cards so this was such a treat! I loved how Charlotte held the space and made everyone feel comfortable''

'' It was such an uplifting and affirming experience. Reading tarot with like minded people felt like such a connecting and healing way to see in the spring. The workshop was supportive and positive, and there were some really beautiful moments of sharing. I learnt so much in this workshop from Charlotte and from the other attendees— everyone had their own unique perspective & reading of the cards, which was so interesting. I really feel like I'm part of the tarot community after this workshop & it has inspired me to deepen my own tarot practice using the skills and insight I gained during the workshop.''
