Upcoming workshops
Screen Printing @ TOW
Based at The Old Waterworks in Westcliff on Sea, our open access screen printing sessions are designed to support independent screen printing practices and allow people chance to learn a new skill without having to buy loads of specialists equipment. During inductions participants learn the basics of screen printing, be introduced to The Old Waterworks print facilities and try your hand at printing your own one-colour A4 print. After an induction, you can book onto one of our open access sessions to independently use the print facilities and materials, with assistance on hand if you need it.
SCREEN PRINTING @ CREATE98
Based at Create98 in Leigh on Sea, we use vinyl cutting techniques to create an experimental temporary screen, then use it to create unique prints up to the size of A4. I also run t-shirt printing workshops for children aged 11+ where they can use pre-made designs to print their own custom t-shirts.

INTRODUCTION TO TAROT
This is an introductory workshop and it's for total tarot beginners. Whether you've never even held a tarot deck before and are just curious to learn what it's all about, or you've got a deck but don't know where to start with learning to use them, or you've been dabbling for a little while and want to hear another perspective on the craft.

CREATIVE EMPOWERMENT AT WYRD ESSEX
During an artist residency, I was involved in Metal’s programme ACP which supported young people to plan and deliver an event. I worked alongside the ACP group as I was developing my own creative empowerment event that eventually became an addition to the ACP event. This project allowed me to share my experience of event planning and delivering, collaborate with young people from various backgrounds and then be part of an event that encouraged the public to try a new creative skill, participate in interactive artwork and share their views.
FASHION CUSTOMISATION
Based at Village Green Festival 2019, we hosted a drop-in customisation workshop. Participants were invited to choose a piece of recycled clothing and learn some simple techniques to make it unique and give it a second life. Techniques included simple cutting methods, adding charms and fabric, and using letter stencils to add designs. The workshop was accompanied by a sustainable fashion zine that featured easy switches to live and shop more sustainably, and instructions on customising an old T-shirt.
TOOLKIT FOR CREATIVES
Covering vision boarding, idea development, self-evaluation, money, tax and more, we explored the unique challenges faced by creatives as they leave education and begin their career. Participants left with the knowledge and support to find their way in the creative industry, and the tools to feel empowered about their ideas, money and finding a community. Funded by Arts Council England.
