Live Across Wickford
Live Across Wickford is a project commissioned by Creative Basildon. The project includes a series of creative workshops that celebrate community and co-production, using music as a tool to bring people together and encourage them to get involved in the arts, culminating in a celebration event, featuring live music, art created by the community and interactive workshops.
We have a number of opportunities for artists for the upcoming projects and are now accepting expressions of interests. Events running across January and February 2025, Dates tbc. I will respond to everyone who completes an expression of interest once dates are finalised.
Priority to artists local to Wickford, but welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.
Live Across Wickford has been commissioned by Creative Basildon and is supported through funding from Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places Programme.
Live Bands/musicians
We are looking for live musicians/bands in all genres for events in venues across Wickford, Essex. Dates and venues tbc.
Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance needed, if you’ve don’t have this, please apply anyway as this can be obtained if successful.
Fee: £150 (total per act)
Celebration event fee may vary based on set times
Creative Workshop Leaders
We are looking for a range of creative workshops for different venues. We are particularly looking for a ‘sip and paint’ style workshop, and music workshops that can work in schools, but we’d love to hear about what you can offer!
Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance needed, if you’ve don’t have this, please apply anyway as this can be obtained if successful. Current DBS needed.
Fee: £150 plus materials
Event Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic event assistant to assist with the smooth running of events, including organisation, set-up and pack down, and assisting with the delivery of the event.

Fee: £18.75/hour. 6 days of 4 hours, totalling £450
