Sugar Storm Soundtracks: Cameron Creasey
Right now we’re in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic which has completely steamrolled live music, so I had a chat with this week’s guest creator or Sugar Storm Soundtracks, Cameron Creasey, all about the live music that we’re missing so much.

Cameron Creasey is a music creator with a love of live music, 80s horror films and questionable puns. Cameron started making music three years ago, creating electronic mash-ups, remixes and comedic original songs.

What was the last gig you went to before everything started being cancelled?
The last gig I went to was Lindemann at Kentish Town Forum. That was back in February.
You’re probably the only person I know to keep such a good record of all the gigs you’ve been to, how many have you been to up until now?
Well when you spend as much money on such events, if you completely forget that time, it’s a little bit of a waste..? But I have been to approximately 133 if you include a few festivals.
What has been your favourite gig and why?
I have one that always sticks in my mind, and it was Motionless in White at Camden Underworld.
MIW are one of my favourite bands, and this was the first time I had seen them headline and my parents bought me the VIP to meet them. I went with my dad and it just so happened to be his last concert.
You’re known for walking away from gigs with some interesting souvenirs, what’s been your favourite souvenir and how did you get it?
My favourite souvenir has got to be my boob alcohol dispenser that I got at Combichrist, I had it handed to me by the drummer himself, and I later got it signed by the whole band.
If you could create an ultimate fantasy lineup - one headline act and two supports - who would you put on? (of all time, dead or alive, get them back together etc.)
Oh Christ, this is a hard one. And I don’t know what order this would go in, in all honesty.
Since you’ve said dead or alive, I’ll have to say that Linkin Park would have to be there but playing ‘Hybrid Theory’ 'because I missed that at Download Festival 2014, Papa roach because they’re an all time favourite, and Limp Bizkit because I think that would be a great trio of bands to play.
And finally, what are you listening to most right now?
I’m currently listening to two incomplete albums at the moment as they’re both out in September.
Joji - Nectar and Machine Gun Kelly - Tickets to my Downfall. They both only have 3 songs out but I’m addicted to them all right now.
